Fun, Inspiring, Creative Activities to develop the Social Skills, Life Skills and to bring out the Champion inside your kid!
Sishu Utsav is an annual Festival of Talents conducted by Frontline Group of Schools to identify the Talented kids of Tirupur.
This year, the events will be held on the following days:
In-School Events – 27th February 2022 (Sunday)
Online Events – 18th February 2022 (Friday) to 22nd February 2022 (Tuesday) (Registrations closed for Online events)
Photo shoot – 20th February 2022 (Sunday)
It contains the events mentioned below. The top 3 winners in each category / event will be gifted with trophies & certificates. All participants will be provided with certificates & gifts.
In-School Events
Dance to the Rhythm
The child must dance for any child friendly song. Non child friendly songs will result in disqualification.
Note – The song must be submitted in a pendrive.
Judgement Criteria – choice of song, choreography, facial expressions, costume, grace of movements
Duration – 1 to 2 minutes
Object Hunt
The child will be given clues describing various objects. He/She must retrieve the maximum number of objects within the stipulated time.
Judgement Criteria – object count, correctness of objects, time taken
Duration – 3 to 5 minutes
Fashion Parade
A Ramp walk / Fancy dress competition. The child should come dressed for the competition. The child must act and express his / her character (non verbal). All themes are allowed.
Judgement Criteria – costume, uniqueness of theme / costume, posture, style, expressions
Duration – 1 minute
Junior Penmanship
A handwriting competition. The child will be judged on the neatness of his/her handwriting.
Papers will be provided in the school. Participants should bring their own pad, pencil, eraser, etc.
Judgement Criteria – legibility, spacing, letter size & shape, consistency
Duration – 10 to 15 minutes
King & Queen of Sounds
Karaoke version of rhymes will be played. The child must identify and perform the rhyme.
Judgement Criteria – correctness of lyrics, expressions, voice clarity
Duration – 3 to 5 minutes
Star Singer
The child can sing any child-friendly song.
Judgement Criteria – choice of song, lyrics clarity, expression
Duration – 2-3 minutes
Art – Color Masters / Lil Picasso / Brilliant Brushes
Pre-KG, Jr. KG, Sr. KG – Coloring
Grade 1, 2, 3 – Drawing
Grade 4, 5 – T-Shirt Painting
Coloring sheets, papers and T-Shirts will be given in the school. Bring your own coloring materials.
Judgement Criteria – coloring within the lines, color scheme, creativity
Duration – 15-20 minutes
Face Make Up
The child has to apply make up to his/her parent.
Bring your own make up kit.
Judgement Criteria – usage of products, precision, overall appearance
Duration – 15-20 minutes
Fireless Cooking
The child should prepare flameless food & explain the preparation process.
Example – juice, salad, sandwich, etc.
(Bring the required ingredients. Avoid giving your child sharp objects.)
Judgement Criteria – ingredients used, presentation, taste, time taken, cleanliness
Duration – 15-20 minutes

Origami / Paper Art
The child should create unique & creative models by folding paper into a sculpture without using glue or scissors. (Origami papers will be provided in the school.)
Judgement Criteria – creativity, time taken, uniqueness, number of sculptures / models
Duration – 15-20 minutes
Little Athlete
A set of easy athletic events for the child which include running, throwing & jumping, etc. Winners will be selected based on the number of points scored.
Judgement Criteria – as per the event
Duration – 10-15 minutes

Online Events
Registrations for Online events are now closed.
Rhyme with Me
The child must recite nursery rhymes in an expressive manner. All languages are allowed.
Judgement Criteria – voice clarity, pronunciation, expressions, body movement
Mode – Online Video Conference
Duration – 2 minutes maximum
Teller of Tales
The child should recite a story in English / native language. Original / funny stories are encouraged.
Judgement Criteria – choice of story, story clarity, expressions, voice clarity, voice modulation, video presentation
Mode – Video Submission
Duration – 2 – 3 minutes
Young Entrepreneur
The child should advertise and promote any product / service of his or her choice. Description should have only original words. Do not copy from media ads.
Language can be in English or any native language.
Judgement Criteria – choice of product / service, creativity, humour, expressions, language, voice clarity
Mode – Video Submission
Duration – 1 to 2 minutes
Spell Bee
A list of words will be given and the child will be asked to spell those words. A few unlisted words will also be asked based on the child’s age.
Judgement Criteria – number of words, clarity of voice, spelling correctness
Mode – Online Video Conference
Duration – 2-5 minutes
Spark on Mic
A list of topics will be given and the child can present a speech on any of those topics.
Judgement Criteria – creativity, content, humour, expressions, language, voice clarity, video presentation
Mode – Video Submission
Duration – 3 to 5 minutes

Little Comedian
The child must tell child friendly age appropriate jokes.
Judgement Criteria – creativity, content, humour, expressions, language, voice clarity
Mode – Online Video Conference
Duration – 2 to 3 minutes
Yoga Champ
The child must perform a variety of yoga asanas within 2 minutes. As this is a time based event, the video must be taken in one continuous shot.
Judgement Criteria – selection of asanas, body postures, perfection in execution, video presentation
Mode – Video Submission
Duration – 2 minutes
Bonus Event (Photo shoot Contest)
Theme – Disney Party
Date for the photo shoot: 20.02.2022
Last Date for registration: 19.02.2022
Once registered, a photo shoot session will be arranged for the child in the school premises. (Instructions for the photo shoot will be intimated through phone.)
The photos will be uploaded in our Facebook page. For the Fan Favourite award, the photo with the maximum number of likes, comments and shares will be chosen as the winner. Other awards will be determined by our panel of Judges and prizes will be given.

Event Categories
The participants are allowed to participate only in the events allocated for their respective categories. Each participant can only participate in a maximum of 2 In-School events & 2 Online events (excluding the bonus event).
Registration
Each category (Pre-KG to Grade 5) has been allocated certain events as shown in the image. A child can participate in a maximum of 2 In-School events & 2 Online events from the events listed for their category (excluding Bonus Event – Photo shoot contest). Parents can register their child for the events through our website.
Registration Confirmation
Once registered, you would receive a phone call from the school within 24 hours to confirm your registration. If you don’t receive a call, please contact 97514 33033.
Events Process
In-School events will be conducted in our school premises.
Online events will be conducted through Google Classroom / Zoom. Google Classroom will be used to submit videos. Zoom will be used for live interactive sessions.
Google Classroom
Once you have registered, we will provide you with an email ID & password through which you can access the Google Classroom for this competition.

Google Classroom app can be found on the Android Play Store as well as the iOS App Store. It can also be used from a computer.
Zoom
Zoom app can be found on the Android Play Store as well as the iOS App Store.
We will send a session link through Whatsapp. You can click on the link to join the zoom session. Once you join the session, you have to click on “Join Audio” & “Enable Video” at the bottom left as shown in the image below.
Tutorial documents & videos on how to use Zoom & Google Classroom will be shared to the participants after registration. Also, an orientation session will be arranged for the participants.
