Fun, Inspiring, Creative Activities to develop the Social Skills, Life Skills and to bring out the Champion inside your kid!
Sishu Utsav is an annual Festival of Talents conducted by Frontline Group of Schools to identify the Talented kids of Tirupur.
This year, the events will be held online from 10th April 2021 (Saturday) to 18th April 2021 (Sunday).
It contains the events mentioned below. The top 3 winners in each category / event will be gifted with trophies & certificates. All participants will be provided with certificates & gifts.
Events
Rhyme with Me
The child must recite nursery rhymes in an expressive manner. All languages are allowed.
Judgement Criteria – Voice clarity, pronunciation, expressions, body movement, video presentation
Mode – Video Submission
Duration – 2 minutes maximum
Little Dancer
The child must dance for any child friendly song. Non child friendly songs will result in disqualification.
Judgement Criteria – Choice of song, choreography, facial expressions, costume, background, video presentation
Mode – Video Submission
Duration – 1 to 2 minutes
Smart Observer
The child will be shown a picture or video. Questions will be asked after that to test the child’s observation skills.
Judgement Criteria – Correctness of answers, sharpness, clarity of thought
Mode – Zoom Session
My Toys, My World
The child must show his / her toys & play area and explain about them.
Judgement Criteria – Confidence, expressiveness, clarity of thought, detail in explanation, video presentation
Mode – Video Submission
Duration – 1 to 2 minutes
Kutty Chutties
Interview / Talk session to find the most talkative & witty child. The child must interact in an interesting manner with the event host.
Judgement Criteria – Confidence, expressiveness, clarity of thought, wittiness, humour
Mode – Zoom Session
Teller of Tales
The child should recite a story in English / native language. Original / funny stories are encouraged.
Judgement Criteria – Choice of story, story clarity, expressions, voice clarity, voice modulation, video presentation
Mode – Video Submission
Duration – 2 – 3 minutes
Tell Me Why
The child will be given everyday situations and he / she must explain why those things happen. Creative & funny answers are encouraged.
Example: Why is the sky blue?

Ad Recreator
The child must present a video by recreating any of the ads running in TV now. Family members can help.
Judgement Criteria – Choice of ad, creativity, costumes, quality of replication, expressions, video presentation
Mode – Video Submission
Duration – 30 seconds – 1 minute
Little Advertiser
The child should advertise and promote any product / service of his or her choice. Description should have only original words. Do not copy from media ads.
Language can be in English or any native language.
Judgement Criteria – Choice of product / service, creativity, humour, expressions, language, voice clarity, video presentation
Mode – Video Submission
Duration – 1 minute
Spell Bee
A list of words will be given and the child will be asked to spell those words. A few unlisted words will also be asked based on the child’s age.
Judgement Criteria – Clarity of voice, spelling correctness
Mode – Zoom Session
Duration – 2-5 minutes
Yoga Champ
The child must perform a variety of yoga asanas within 2 minutes. As this is a time based event, the video must be taken in one continuous shot.
Judgement Criteria – Selection of asanas, body postures, perfection in execution
Mode – Video Submission
Duration – 2 minutes
Star Singer
The child can sing any child-friendly song.
Judgement Criteria – Choice of song, Lyrics clarity, expression
Mode – Video Submission
Duration – 2-3 minutes
My Family, My Happiness
The child must give a speech / present a video on the topic – “My Family, My Happiness”.
Judgement Criteria – Content, clarity of thought, voice clarity, expressions, video presentation

My Hometown
The child must give a speech / present a video on his / her hometown.
Judgement Criteria – Content & knowledge, clarity of thought, voice clarity, expressions, video presentation

Little Voices Big Ideas
The child must express himself / herself and talk about causes & solutions for existing social issues. Topics will be provided.

Express Yourself
The child can display any of his / her talents. (Open theme)
Judgement Criteria – Talent displayed & wow factor

Bilingual Maestro
The child must give a speech on any topic in 2 languages in alternating manner. The first sentence should be English. The second sentence should be in the native language (Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, etc.). All the sentences should alternate between the 2 languages. Video must be taken in one continuous shot.
Judgement Criteria – Content & knowledge, clarity of thought, pronunciation, voice clarity, expressions, smoothness of switchover, video presentation
Mode – Video Submission
Duration – 2 minutes
Bonus Event – Style Icon (Photo Contest)
One of the fascinating things about India is our vast variety of beautiful ethnic wear. In this event, we challenge the participants to use their creativity and build upon the traditional ethnic wear and make them more stylish.
A high quality photo of the child must be submitted based on the theme – Ethnic Wear – Stylish Remix.
The photos will be uploaded in our Facebook page. For the Fan Favourite award, the photo with the maximum number of likes, comments and shares will be chosen as the winner. Other awards will be determined by our panel of Judges.

Event Categories
The participants are allowed to participate only in the events allocated for their respective categories. Each participant can only participate in a maximum of 3 events (excluding the bonus event).
Registration
Each category (Pre-KG to Grade 5) has been allocated certain events as shown in the image. A child can participate in a maximum of 3 events from the events listed for their category (excluding Bonus Event – Style Icon). Parents can register their child for the events through our website.
Registration Confirmation
Once registered, you would receive a phone call from the school within 24 hours to confirm your registration. If you don’t receive a call, please contact 99445 93033.
Events Process
All the events will be conducted through Google Classroom / Zoom. Google Classroom will be used to submit photos & videos. Zoom will be used for live interactive sessions.
Google Classroom
Once you have registered, we will provide you with an email ID & password through which you can access the Google Classroom for this competition.

Google Classroom app can be found on the Android Play Store as well as the iOS App Store. It can also be used from a computer.
Zoom
Zoom app can be found on the Android Play Store as well as the iOS App Store.
We will send a session link through Whatsapp. You can click on the link to join the zoom session. Once you join the session, you have to click on “Join Audio” & “Enable Video” at the bottom left as shown in the image below.
Tutorial documents & videos on how to use Zoom & Google Classroom will be shared to the participants after registration. Also, an orientation session will be arranged for the participants.
